  • Winter Holidays!

I had my first idea for Project Ten on the beach with my kids. Tomorrow we are going on a little holiday to escape the cold, spend some more time on the beach with my kids and hopefully teach my husband how to relax! The Project Ten online store will be closed while we are away as I am a one-woman show. Please visit one of my lovely retailers if you need a bag while I'm away. See you back here on the 6th of July!

  • Do you Pin?

I absolutely love Pinterest. I can remember having folders of magazine tear sheets when we started renovating our first house . What a mess it was, and  you could never find the one you needed. The genius that though of Pinterest has solved all those issues, thank goodness. We are looking at renovating our next house soon, and it is so easy to get our architect and builder to just “follow” our boards on Pinterest to see what we like. The other funny thing about Pinterest is that I feel I “know” some of my followers and the people I...

  • The round about way of getting somewhere

I don’t know about you, but I love curling up with a good book in winter. I have been reading lots of good ones lately as the Beach Bag business tends to slow down a bit during the colder months. At the moment I am reading Apply Within by Michaela Mcguire. On the cover it describes the book as “stories of career sabotage”. It made me pick it up as I have had rather a varied career history as well. I was always envious of friends who knew exactly what they wanted to do when they left school.  I, on...

  • The benefits of working from home....

When I started Project Ten I really wanted to be able to run this business around the needs of my young family. I have a husband who works long hours and travels often and a six and  four year old who need me for a lot of things (Muuum.......can I have a drink? Muuum......Im hungry! You get the drift)  Well this theory was well and truly tested last week when my oldest boy contracted Viral Meningitis.  We spend nearly the whole week in hospital tag teaming with my husband and I as well as grandparents and friends. Whilst Project Ten...

I just thought I would let you all know that I am having a sale from now until Mothers day (May 12). If you would like to purchase 2 or more bags, you can get them for $15AUD each by using the promotional code "mothersday" after the paypal screen at checkout. If you would like to be kept...

  • Project Ten at Angelsea Riverbank Market Sunday 6th January

We have just got back from a great week on the coast. We relaxed, played with all the kids new toys and spent afternoons at the beach digging holes and catching waves. Isn't the beach so great for tiring the kids out? I find they sleep so well after a day in the sun and surf. It was great to also see some people at my local beach with Project Ten Beach Bags. I will be down at the Anglesea Riverbank Market this Sunday 6th of January if anyone needs some giant totes - Hope to see you there. Jacquie...
